Hello…

After 4 years as a Headhunter across ClimateTech & Renewables with NextWave Partners… I’m getting ready to make my next move.

Additional context:

In February 2020, I accepted an offer to join NextWave Partners (a global boutique (at the time) recruitment firm) as the second employee in the US to help establish and grow the renewable energy recruitment desk.

Two weeks later, I was on a plane to NYC. The country boy from rural Wisconsin was headed to the big city.

Over the next 2.5 years, I went on a tear.

With the support of team members and leadership back in Singapore, I achieved my promotions and grew my team in record time.

However, the entire time I was doing this, I had the goal of building out the ClimateTech recruitment desk.

Why?—Quite frankly, I found renewables a bit boring. Yes, there is some innovation, but generally, the model is derisked and working.

Being an innovation junkie—I wanted to work in ClimateTech, where all the innovation was happening.

For this reason, I started the CleanTechies Podcast in 2021 and eventually launched the ClimateTech desk in late 2022.

So what now?

After 4 years of helping amazing organizations acquire the best talent and learning from the leading founders and investors in the climate space via my podcast, I am ready for a new challenge.
